Happy Halloween! So I gotta admit right off the bat....I've never been a big horror fan. As a kid, I would have nightmares and even having all grown up, I can still get squeamish. However, like many, I love the Halloween holiday, and try to dress up or decorate when possible. One of the great things as an artist though, is being able to create fun and interesting projects that others will enjoy.
Having been around the Cosplay Community for a number of years, I've met some wonderful people who obviously love to dress up and create fun stuff. Halloween is probably the most popular of all days in the community and taking that urge to create to reality is something we live for.
Like I said, I haven't been the biggest horror fan, but interestingly I've always wanted to make my own horror film. In lieu of making that happen, I have had the opportunity to channel that desire with my photography, and I've got plenty of friends that are interested. And as you'll see, taking it a whole new level is part of the ghoulish fun.
I will warn you now, some of the images may be graphic and NSFW. If you are squeamish, you may not want to proceed. Part of the allure of this set was to make the pictures seem as real as possible. And I think we've done that. I admit it's not for everyone, so again, please be advised on the graphic nature of some of the images. Otherwise, I hope you'll enjoy them.
Lastly a big shout out to two of my good friends who braved cold bathrooms, lukewarm water and lots of fake blood. Marine (www.instagram.com/marinemadesclaire/) and Amanda (www.instagram.com/realamandalynne/) are always a pleasure to work with, so make sure to check out their pages and give them some support.
